Google officially released Chrome 25 today. Users of Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chrome Frame browser frameworks will be automatically updated to 25.0.1364.97. Chrome 25 brings many new features and adds a Speech Recognition API to prohibit the Silent Installation of extensions/plug-ins.
Google said Chrome 25 supports the Web Speech API. developers can use this API to integrate the Speech recognition function into their own applications.
Chrome 25 will disable extensions installed through third-party programs by default. When a third-party program installs an extension for Chrome, a prompt box is displayed, listing the extension permissions, for example, if it can access all your network data, read and modify your bookmarks to access your tags and browsing activities. In addition, all extensions that you have previously installed through an external installer will be automatically disabled, and Chrome will display a one-time prompt, with "extension Settings", you can re-enable all or part of them.
Since Chrome 25, its Native Client Development Kit SDK also supports ARM devices that have previously supported Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chrome OS ).
