Clear IP and domain name information for Remote Desktop history

Here's how you can delete these records. First run regedit, open the registry, and find:

Hkey_current_usersoftwaremicrosoftterminal Server Clientdefault

The key values on the right record the IP or domain name.

Another last connected IP or domain name will be displayed in the Remote Desktop Connection target input box above, this information is stored in "My Documents" under the "default.rdp" file, delete it.

In addition, you can put

Hkey_current_usersoftwaremicrosoftterminal Server Clientdefault

The permission for this key value is set to not overwrite.

The same is true of DEFAULT.RDP, so Remote Desktop Connection will not record your login information.
