We humans from primitive society is to express themselves in language, communicate with each other. The same is true for programming languages. It is a tool for human and machine communication. Like human languages, many programming languages have different dialects, applicability, and contexts. Some languages are even thought to be dead, because no state official speaks the language.
The core of language is very similar to programming language: communication. Both are great communication tools. The way you look at programming languages should be the case: a tool.
With the agile methodology and the evolving IT market, it is becoming increasingly common to use programming languages as tools to deliver business value. Whether it's Ruby, Python, JavaScript or Go, it depends on its suitability and the business value you provide.
