Completely solve Windows server time synchronization problems
Preface: I have previously written an article about Linux time service synchronization, but I found that the recent Windows server time is also slow. For the most common settings, see, however, synchronization was not successful during actual use.
After discussion with colleagues, I checked the server's system logs and found the following problems:
Next, let's check the parameters in the following three places:
RPC service
Windows time ServiceYou can use
My computer-> Management-> servicesTo check whether the service name (Remote Procedure Call (RPC) and Windows Time) has been enabled.
If the above is enabled, run->Gpedit. msc, GoGroup Policy ModeAnd then follow the steps to enable global configuration first.
Then configureNTP clientFor more information, see system introduction.
Then weConfigure NTP client Parameters, See
Note: several important parameters
SpecialPollInterval: the polling interval, in seconds. I set it to 10 minutes, that is, 600 seconds. Type: NTP
The other parameters are not useful for the time being.
Last step:Restart Windows time Service and RPC service.
Summary: It seems like a simple time synchronization problem, but when I solve the problem, I can find various reasons and motivation to find out each link.
