Sometimes, we are very afraid to build the environment, because in this process, we will encounter a lot of troubles, making us helpless, and it is often difficult to solve the problem one day or two days, because we don't know them. However, these problems are often very simple for a person who is familiar with them. Therefore, we must constantly discover, solve, and accumulate experience in this process. Before becoming a bull, We must go through these difficulties.
In this chapter, the biggest problem I encountered was to install virtual pcdos. First, install pcdos on Virtual PC, which is not very troublesome, but after installation, the problem of file sharing has plagued me for two days and finally solved it.
Install dos for file sharing
The Virtual PC 5.0 version used by the author in the book runs on the Windows XP operating system. You can install msdos 6.22 on it, and then install the DOS additional module to achieve file sharing. But unfortunately, I am using the win7 operating system, so everything has become useless.
In this way, I will introduce the installation of Windows 7.
1) In Windows 7, we need to install Virtual PC 2007_x32. The installation process will be OK as described in the document.
2) then install msdos 6.22. The installation process is easygoing. Follow the prompts and continue the next step.
3) The next step is to install the DOS additional module. We need to download the DOS additional module and restart the DOS operating system,
Menu === floppy === capture floppy disk image... Select dos additional module (1)
(Figure 1)
After loading; (2)
(Figure 2)
Switch to a floppy disk (3)
(Figure 3)
Run the following command: C:/>:
Run the following command: A:/> dosadd
Then OK. (4)
(Figure 4)
4) Next in pcdos, the menu is = & gt; Edit = & gt; setting = & gt; shared folder (5, 6)
(Figure 5)
(Figure 6)
Then select the file to be shared and the drive letter mapped to dos. Here, we select "Z" for "drive letter" and then share "E: \ PC dos ", select Share every time ". (7)
(Figure 7)
Click OK to complete file sharing. (8)
(Figure 8)
In dos, type: (9)
C: \> Z :( press Enter)
Z: \> Dir (Press ENTER)
Here we will see the files mapped to the folder of the DOS system. At this time, we can run the. com file in the Virtual DOS.

(In addition, the above mentioned virtual PC 2007, pcdos6.22, and DoS modules are all found in my downloaded files .)
