Configuration instances of the YUM library and YUM Source

1. We can use the 163yum source or sohuyum source over the network.

2. Use the CD as the yum Source

Download the complete ISO image file and mount it to the optical drive.

Create a directory to copy

# Mkdir/media/cdrom

Attach Optical Drive

# Mount/dev/cdrom/media/cdrom

View the copied directory

# Cd/media/cdrom

(VT, Cluster, Server, note that the yum library in Red Hat version 6 is different from that in version 5,

All rpm Packages of version 6 are placed in Packages.

Note the pointing path of the yum source)

Configure yum Source

# Vim/etc/yum. repos. d/iso. repo

[Iso]
Name = localiso
Baseurl = file: // media/cdrom
Gpgcheck = 1
Gpgkey = file: // media/cdrom/RPM-GPG-KEY-CentOS-6 # The gpgkey file here should be changed to the file name in the iso Image
