Configure JSP in Apache + Tomcat under Win2k

I am a Java-based developer. If the Flash Action Script is an extension of Java, I still know something...

The school suddenly asked us to use JSP to make a page for voting... I don't even know why JSP is a thing. I can't help it. I just had to stick to my head. If I don't know why, I can check the information online...

First under an Apache server, apache_2.0.54-win32-x86-no_ssl.msi, this is for Win32 version. the next step is to parse the Tomcat 5.x: plugin of the JSP program. It doesn't matter if it is not installed later. It is mainly the previous JDK environment, and then set the environment variables.

Catalina_home: e:/program files/Apache Software Foundation/tomcat 5.5
Classpath :. /; % classpath %; C:/program files/Java/jdk1.5.0 _ 05/lib/tools. jar; C:/program files/Java/jdk1.5.0 _ 05/lib/DT. jar; C:/program files/Java/jdk1.5.0 _ 05/bin
Java_home: C:/program files/Java/jdk1.5.0 _ 05/bin
Tomcat_hom: e:/program files/Apache Software Foundation/tomcat 5.5/bin

I really don't know the key settings... after installation, the basic server has been set up. Here, it should be noted that Tomcat 5.5.12 is similar to the previous 4. the architecture of X is a bit different. I checked the information, as if it was a support for jsp2.0 or something. To tell the truth, I am not very familiar with it... there seems to be an extra Catalina and I don't know what it is for. Well, it's just a little bit of work to complete the task... it's really painful!

Next, we need to set up the next mod_jk2.so file for Apache to communicate with Tomcat. Put it in moudles of apache2, and then drop workers2.properties to its conf directory, by the way, edit the path of the virtual server (that is, the folder where the web page is stored, I don't want to install it in the default place) and find httpd In the conf folder. conf changes the path after DocumentRoot to your website folder, and then do not forget to keep up with the following path:

# This shoshould be changed to whatever you set DocumentRoot.
#
<Directory "H:/mysite/Apache">

Last sentence:

Loadmodule jk2_module "modules/mod_jk2.so"
Jkset config. File "CONF/workers2.properties"

The module for Tomcat communication is loaded. The details are unclear.

Put the workers2.properties file along with mod_jk.so. remove the following sample from the sample and put it under Conf. It seems that the above has been lost. Forget it. It's the file... if it is lost, do not make Apache unable to find it...

Next, configure Tomcat and open the server in the conf folder under tomcat. XML file, find

In fact, it is best to test whether the server runs normally if Apache and tomcat are installed. After Apache is installed, enter http: // localhost, which indicates that Apache runs normally, for tomcat, if it is installed by default, the port should be 8080. After Entering http: // localhost: 8080, you should be able to see the big cat... it indicates that Tomcat runs normally...

After returning to modifying the website address, a very confusing problem arises... I made a hello World JSP test file myself and put it directly under the server directory without any response, that is, it cannot be displayed, but normal HTM can be used. then I drag and drop the entire JSP-examples in webapps under tomcat to the server folder, and then type http: // localhost/JSP-examples/to run the JSP program, the Hello world JSP file tested just now can also be displayed normally. After the JSP-examples name is changed, the JSP file can also run, however, if you create a new folder on the server and put the JSP program in it, it cannot be run. At first, you suspect that there is any xuanjicang In the JSP-examples folder, as a result, all the JSP files except the one I wrote are deleted. unexpectedly, the JSP file can still be run, but it cannot be created if a folder is created outside! That fire is big !... Ah, it seems that my capabilities are limited to this... which expert can give me some advice...
