Configure Samba under Arch Linux

This document records the process of the author's configuration of samba for personal use.

sudo pacman-s Samba

This is a method that does not require permission to access directly:

sudo vim/etc/samba/smb.conf add the following content

[Global]

Workgroup=workgroup

Server String=samba Server%v

NetBIOS Name=arch Linux

Security=user

Map to Guest=bad User

DNS Proxy=no

[Cong ' s shares]

Path=/home/shares

Browsable=yes

Writable=yes

Guest Ok=yes

Read Only=no

sudo chmod 777/home/shares

sudo systemctl restart SMBD

sudo systemctl enable SMBD
