Configure the Oracle ODBC Data Source

First, you must enable the Oracle listener and service.

Open the ODBC data source configuration interface, select system DSN, add, and select Oracle driverProgram

The key is the following parameter settings.

Data Source Name: name of the Data Source

Description: You can describe it on your own.

TNS server name: the drop-down menu is available. (if not, configure one in the net configuration assistant. Set this parameter for the server name)

User ID: name of the database to be used, for example, the familiar Scott

 

Click test connection to test whether the connection is successful. If the connection is successful, a prompt box for succuss connection will be displayed.

Click OK to create the data source. You can use it in the application.
