Configuring PHP and Redis in the Windows environment

Redis is fully open source free, adheres to the BSD protocol and is a high-performance Key-value database.

First, Window under installation

Redis supports 32bit and 64bit to download. Depending on your actual situation, select the 64bit content CP to the custom drive letter installation directory named Redis.

such as C:\reids

Open a CMD window using the CD command to switch directories to C:\redis run

If you want to be convenient, you can add the path of Redis to the environment variables of the system, so as to save the path again, the latter redis.conf can be omitted, if omitted, the default is enabled. After entering, the following interface is displayed:

At this time another cmd window, the original do not close, otherwise you will not be able to access the server. Switch to Redis directory to run Redis127.0. 0.1 6379  setget MyKey

Second, PHP configuration

php_redis.dll:http://windows.php.net/downloads/pecl/snaps/redis/2.2.5/

Look at the information you phpinfo.

Will download the extracted php_redis.dll into the PHP ext directory, and then modify the php.ini, join

; php-redisextension=php_igbinary.dllextension=php_redis.dll

Restart Apache and see phpinfo for information on Redis extensions.

Iii. joining Redis to Windows system services

Redis can be installed as a Windows service, starting from boot, the command is as follows:

Redis-server--service-install redis.windows.conf

Once installed, you can see that Redis is already a Windows service:

However, after installation, Redis does not start, and the Start command is as follows:

Redis-server--service-start

Stop command:

Redis-server--service-stop

You can also install multiple instances

Uninstall command:

Redis-server--service-uninstall

Last hint: 2.8 version of the 32-bit system is not supported, 32-bit system to download the 2.6 version. Version 2.6 is not as easy to deploy as above
