Confluence 6 MySQL Problem Resolution

If the confluence prompt does not have a class file, you may have placed your JDBC driver in the wrong folder.

If you receive the following error message, make sure that the confluenceuser user already has all the required database permissions when you use the localhost connection.

Could not successfully test your database:: Server connection failure during transaction.  Due to underlying exception: ' java.sql.SQLException:Access denied for user ' confluenceuser ' @ ' localhost ' (using password: YES) '
