Create a "Hello World" application in azure

In this article, we will discuss how to use. Net to create a "Hello world!" in azure !!!" ApplicationProgram. I used Visual Studio 1.3 installed with Azure SDK 2010. Start Visual Studio and create a new project. In the "Cloud" template, select "Windows azure cloud service ".

After clicking "OK", it will let you select a "role ". Here, an ASP. NET web role is added.

It then creates two projects: cloudservice1 (azure service project) and webrole1 (ASP. NET project ). The Azure service project is used to configure the application or create a deployment package. ASP. NET is a normal Web project.

Here, I remove the header Div from sitemaster.

Add "Hello world!" in default. aspx !!!!".

Success! Now set "cloudservice1" to your startup project and run it. When you run it, the azure simulation environment will be initialized, and then it will start development storage and Development fabric.

Now you can see your "Hello world !!!" .

If you choose "webrole1" as your startup project and then run this solution, it runs as a normal ASP. Net project and is hosted on the local "localhost.

If you click the azure simulator and select "show development fabric UI", you can see the azure service running on your machine.

This is my "cloudservice1" running. It only has the webrole instance.
