Secure Store Service Once you've built it, you can build it. targetapplication up.

when you want to be inSharePointwhen using external data, you canSecure Store Serviceused togetherBusiness Connectivity Services (BCS). The external data source you want to access is calledsecurestore Target Application. BCSenables you to establish a connection to the target application, whileSecure Storeenables you to manage authentication information required by external systems(such as user name password).

if I want to build a connection to the database Target Application Give BCS use. Go to the Manage page of the Secure Store and click New on the Ribbon :

Enter some of the necessary information:

In the next page, you will need the user name and password to select the properties required to connect to the database:

Next, enter the administrators and members:

this Target Application it's all built. But you need to set the username password :

Enter your username and password and save it.
