It is said that all systems installed with XP SP2 have the "Data Execution Protection" function. However, many users do not pay attention to this function. In fact, "Data Execution Protection" (DEP) is quite satisfactory in preventing viruses inserted into the process.
Yesterday, I saw a virus sample that claimed to be able to discard icesword and ran it.
To make the virus run smoothly, I disabled all the monitoring functions of rising and Windows security of tiny. As a result, the Nb virus was killed by Dep (Figure 1), and the icesword was lossless (figure 2 ).
It seems that this is also true for the so-called Nb virus. As long as your system protection measures are in place, these ox x viruses will not work.
If you have no special requirements, set your Dep as shown in figure 3.
