Chat some time ago, for you to explain how in fireworks to draw QQ Skin Tutorial examples, I believe that we have been harvested. This time we use fireworks with the GIF animation production function, for you to explain the dynamic QQ expression production. Thus also personalized QQ to carry out in the end!

In our daily life, people's expressions are included in the "Emotions". But in the online QQ chat, the usable expression action is rich and colorful, especially the appearance of dynamic expression, more can be a kind of emotion performance vivid and interesting show out, this kind of expressiveness sometimes than the expression of words also want to penetrating. Because QQ itself with the chat expression is limited, so many friends are happy from other software or forums to collect all kinds of chat expressions, and then add to the QQ expression library for use. But this will inevitably make different styles, the size of various types of expressions mixed use, resulting in a kind of regret. To this end in this example tutorial will take you to try to draw a unified appearance and personalized QQ expression.

Before we draw, it is necessary to select the expression to be drawn, only the more commonly used in chat or their preferred expression as a design goal, of course, to draw more of their own original style of expression is the embodiment of the real personalized. In addition, we are going to draw the GIF format is dynamic expression. Therefore, it is also important to keep the same inertia of the first and last frames as possible.

In this example tutorial selected is my own set of "Big eye mung bean" chat expression, because the expression is more, plus the limit of the length of the tutorial, it is impossible to all the expression of the drawing process. But same, the method of drawing is limited. Therefore, I will focus on the following three sections of the Fireworksgif animation production features of the expression, make a detailed explanation.

Magnifying glass Sweat Dizzy

A "magnifying glass"

When you start fireworks, create a new canvas with a resolution of 72,455*255 size. The canvas is larger for the convenience of drawing, and the size of the expression I choose is 65*65 pixel. That is to say, no matter how the expression is, it cannot be larger than this, and so is the whole set of other expressions. So, first of all, we should draw a 67*67 square on the canvas, and the expression will be drawn within this inch.

Let's draw the green Bean's face first, use the "ellipse" tool to draw a positive circle of the 59*59 size, and then use the "Partial selection" tool to select the node at the lower end of the circle and move up to 7 pixels up with the arrow keys. Then we fill it with the "oval" gradient, which is #9fec00 to #81b31a, and the stroke color is a 2-pixel soft stroke of #669506. As shown in Figure 01.

Figure 01

Then add the inner bevel effect to the object, setting the parameters as follows.

Figure 02
To make the mung bean's appearance brighter, we add a brightness/contrast effect with a brightness of 12 and a contrast of 20. After we finish, we will draw the green Bean's eyes. Use the Oval tool to draw a 18*18 circle, with an "oval" gradient fill, and a gradient value from #ffffff to #979797, with a stroke of 1 pixel soft strokes for the #577811. As shown in Figure 03.

Figure 03
To make the eyeball have three-dimensional, we draw a 12*12 on the eyeball. A full white solid fill with a feather value of 2 and a stroke is canceled. As shown in Figure 04.

Figure 04
We select the two objects that make up the eyeball, and then use the Modify-group command.

Then we'll draw the black eyes. First draw a 9*9 circle and fill it with full black. Then draw a 3*3 size circle with a full white solid fill. As a result, the high light portion of the entire eye is reflected, as shown in Figure 05.

Figure 05
Then we select the two objects that make up the eyeball and use the Modify-group command. The reason why the eyeball and the black eye part of the combination of separate. It is because the expression of the cartoon image is conveyed to a large extent by the eyes. While we are drawing other expression movements, of course, directly to the eye to copy the past can be, there is no need to repaint another. Therefore, in order to make the eye movement more convenient, so as to match the needs of other expression movements, we have adopted this separate combination of methods.

Then we can move the two objects that make up the eye to the face of the mung bean. But we also see that the eye is missing a projection on its face. So we're going to draw a 19*19 oval, with a line fill, and the gradient from #577811 to #577811, and opacity to 0% to 100%. The feather value is 2. The object is then moved to the bottom of the "eye" object by adjusting the object layer to form a certain projection effect. As shown in Figure 06.

Figure 06

Perhaps a friend will ask, why not directly to the eyeball using "projection" special effects, but to draw a separate projection object. In fact, the purpose of doing so is to be able to more flexibly adjust the size, angle and depth of the eye projection when drawing other expressions.

We'll copy the eye again (don't copy the projection), and then stretch it to the 24*24 size with the zoom tool and move it to the left of the mung Bean's face. Because of changes in the position of the eye, it also changes the position of the high light of the eye, so we can use the "partial selection" tool to adjust it appropriately, as shown in Figure 07.

Figure 07
As a result, both sides of the eye are also drawn to complete. At this time it looks a bit like "Big eye frog", hehe ... Then we should draw a magnifying glass. First draw a 5*12 size rectangle, with a "stripe" gradient, the color value from # Ebebeb to # Ababab, the stroke color of # 8e90a5 1 pixel soft. Then draw a rectangle of 9*21 size and set its circle angle to 60. Also with a "stripe" gradient, the color fill value from #ffffff to # E08915, the stroke color of # 593E22 for the 1 pixel soft stroke. When you are finished, align the two objects as shown in Figure 08.

Figure 08
Let's draw two positive circles with diameters of 31 pixels and 25 pixels, then align the two circles horizontally and vertically, and use the Modify-punch command for both objects. So as to get a magnifying glass frame shape. And then for this will ring frame use "strip" gradient fill, color from #ffffff to #cccccc, do not use strokes. Then add an "inner bevel" effect to the object, setting the parameters like Figure 09.

Figure 09
Then add a brightness of 15, contrast to 51 of the "brightness/contrast" effect. When finished, move the frame to the handle of the magnifying glass, as shown in Figure 10.

Figure 10

The three objects that make up the Magnifier are selected at the same time, and the Modify-combine command is used to form a combination. Then click on the "Modify-transform-numerical transform" command, select "Rotate" from the Drop-down list in the pop-up dialog box, and set the rotation angle to 18. As shown in Figure 11.

Figure 11
When you are finished, you can move the magnifying glass to the left side of the mung bean, as shown in Figure 12.

Figure 12
Let's draw a simple little hand to hold the magnifying glass. Draw a 20*11 ellipse with the oval tool. With an oval gradient fill, the gradient value of the color is #ffffff to # 76ae00, and the stroke is softened by 1 pixels of # 669309. Then restart the Numerical Transformation dialog box and rotate the image to 40 degrees. Then move the small hand to the left position of the magnifying glass, as shown in Figure 13.

Figure 13
After the little hand is painted, the next step is to draw a small mouth. Use the "pen" tool to draw a shape like fig. 14 below the face of the mung bean.

Figure 14
For this profile use full white internship fill, the stroke color of # 4b7702 1 pixel soft. In order to make the mouth can also render a certain sense of three-dimensional, we also want to create a projection object for it. First copy the path again, and then replace the copied object with a solid fill with a # 4d7902, a feather value of 3, and remove the original stroke color. The copied object is then adjusted through the position of the layers panel and moved to the lower part of the mung bean "small Mouth" object. Then use the arrow keys to translate the projection objects up and to the right, respectively, 3 pixels and 1 pixel distances. But this is not finished, then use the "Partial selection" tool to select the path node to the left of the projection object and move it down by 3 pixels, as shown in Figure 15.

Figure 15

Thus, the static expression of a magnifying glass is painted and manufactured. In order to make this expression of some color filling can also be shared by other expression series, we can be the mouth of color filling and projection objects of color fill, etc. to create a style to save.

In order for this static expression to move, we first build a new document with a canvas size of 65*65, and then select and copy all the objects that make up the "magnifier" expression to the new canvas. Then start the frames panel again. Click on the Drop-down menu in the top right of the panel to select the "Re Frame" item, which is the meaning of the copy frame. As shown in Figure 16.

Figure 16
A dialog box will then pop up and we'll just click on the OK button. The copied frames are also listed in the Frames panel. We click on "2 Frames" and then remove the black Eye Group object from the big left eye of the mung bean on the canvas. Replace with the line path drawn with the pen tool above. As shown in Figure 17.

Figure 17
The path of the stroke color for All Black 1 pixel soft, but in order to make this path more obvious, we click on the "copy", "Sticky" button, with two identical paths overlap to deepen its color concentration. In this way, a wink of the movement of the expression is also drawn to complete. We can click on the GIF animation button below the canvas to watch.

Figure 18
Do you think it's too fast? We set the delay time for the first frame to 140/100 seconds in the frames panel. As shown in Figure 19.

Figure 19
The delay time for the second post is set to 14/100 seconds. Then we'll look at the advertised effect, and someone may feel a little slower. In fact, when we export this animation to GIF animated pictures, you can use the ACDSee and so on to look at the image of the software to see its playback speed than in the fireworks to see a little faster. So let's first export the animation to GIF format before you look at it. Use the Slice tool to box-select the canvas range. Then select the export format in the Optimization panel as GIF animation with a color of 256 colors, as shown in Figure 20.

Figure 20

Then right-click on the slice, select "Export selected slices" From the pop-up menu, and choose Save path for the animation. Then we use the graph software to see the animation. I personally think that the speed of its playback is relatively moderate. So far, the first expression we've drawn is done. Although the animation is only two frames, and the expression is very simple, but for other expressions of the drawing provides a number of styles, can be used directly through the style panel. As well as for other expressions of exaggeration and deformation to bring some of the original reference.

We will "magnifying glass" expression in the face of mung bean copy, as the "sweat" expression of the face. It is also plotted on a canvas of the original 455*255 size. This expression is more simple to draw, with "pen" tool directly draw four line segments, respectively, the eyebrows and eyes, eyebrow stroke color for #567517, stroke 3 pixel soft strokes. The eye's stroke color is #3c5010, using a 2-pixel soft stroke. Then draw a rectangle with a rounded angle of 100, with a solid white fill, a #5e7f19, and a 2-pixel soft stroke. When you are finished, place these objects as shown in Figure 21.

Figure 21
Let's draw a sweat again. First draw a 13*13 size of the circle, with the "contour" gradient fill, the color value of # BDEFFF to # 2eadd8, remove the stroke color, and add a "further blur" effect. Then use the "Partial selection" tool to select the node at the top of the circle and use the arrow keys to move up to 12 pixel distances. To make the upper end of the sweat more acute, we use the "Partial selection" tool to narrow the top two control handles of the upper node, as shown in Figure 22. Then adjust the angle of the fill handle, as shown in Figure 23. So that the reflection of sweat more natural.

Figure 22

Figure 23
When finished, move the object to the left of the mung bean forehead. So, the static of this expression is completely finished, we create a new 65*65 size blank document for it, and then copy all the objects that make up this expression. The dynamic production of the expression is then transferred.

We notice that only the sweat in this expression needs to be made into motion, while the other objects remain stationary. So we can consider the way to move the sweat into an animation component to complete the animation process. We click the Drop-down menu in the upper-right corner of the layers panel to select "Share this layer", as shown in Figure 24.

Figure 24
Then select the Sweat object and click the Modify-animation-select animation command. An animation component's settings window pops up, and we enter the corresponding value in Figure 25.

Figure 25
When you click on the "OK" button, the "Sweat" object is turned into an animation component. Click on the "Play" button below the canvas to view it. But the playback speed is a little bit faster. We open the "frame" panel, and the inside 5 frames of the delay time set to 35/100 seconds, and then use the "slice" tool for this animation to create an export slice to save as a GIF animation, in the diagram software to view or import into the QQ expression library for use.

This expression has three movement objects, except two eyes to keep turning, mouth bar will also move. But it's not hard to make it. First from the "magnifying glass" expression we need to copy the object, in order to make this expression more interesting, we will be the original eyeball projection object with the "zoom" tool to stretch to 21*21. Instead, use a solid fill with a color of #648a13, with a feather value of 3. The Whites object is also stretched to 20*20 with the Zoom tool, while the black pupil does not have to make any changes. And then put it as shown in Fig. 26.

Figure 26

Let's draw its mouth again. First draw a 5*5 size of the circle, remove its fill color, choose 2 pixel soft strokes, stroke color is # 4b7801. Then use the path-cutting tool to split the circle in Split, as shown in Figure 27.

Figure 27
The upper part is then deleted and the lower half is copied and then horizontally flipped 180 degrees. Then arrange it like Figure 28.

Figure 28
Duplicate four semicircular objects in the same way, and arrange them as shown in Figure 29. Use the Modify-combine command when you have this and six objects selected at the same time.

Figure 29
When you move the composite object to the face position, the static drawing of the expression ends.

Figure 30
Create a new 65*65 blank document, copy all the objects that make up the expression, and then click the Drop-down menu in the upper-right corner of the layers panel to set layer 1 to "share this layer." Then create a new layer 2 and move the "mouth bar" combination object to Layer 2.

Also select the Whites and pupil combinations in the left eye, and then use the Modify-group command to combine the two combinations. Then click "Modify-Animation-select Animation" In the menu bar, and in the dialog box that pops up like Figure 31.

Figure 31
In the same way, combining the whites of the right whites with the pupil in a group, click on the "Modify-animation-Select animation" command, and then in the pop-up dialog box is also shown in Figure 31-like settings.

Let's set the action of the Mouth bar, select the combination object of "mouth" in Layer 2 and click the "Copy" button. Then in the Frames panel, select the 2nd, 3, 4 frames, and then copy the "mouth" of the grouped objects. However, in frames 2nd and 4th, the object is also flipped horizontally 180 degrees.

Finally, don't forget to set the delay time for all frames to 16/100 seconds. This speed is also a bit slow after exporting to GIF files, but if used in QQ chat, the speed will be accelerated nearly twice times more. Then the expression looks comfortable.

Through the above three examples, just hope to be able to draw their own QQ chat expression, bring a little technical help. At the same time, I will share my personal experience with you. If you already have a set of your own QQ chat expression of the initial idea, then move quickly! And do not forget to give me a set after the painting, Oh!
