DB2 10.5 and ArcGIS 10.4 Spatial database configuration

1. Software version Confirmation

Software version collocation need to refer to the official ArcGIS Link: http://desktop.arcgis.com/zh-cn/arcmap/10.4/manage-data/gdbs-in-db2/database-requirements-db2.htm

DB2 for each version and patch pack: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27007053

Database: DB2 10.5 SP5 (Connection catalog requires installation of 32-bit client and 10.5 SP5 version)

Arcgis:arcgis 10.4

2. Software Sequential Installation

(1), DB2 10.5 SP5 64-bit

(2), IBM DATA STUDIO

(3), DB2 32-bit client

(4), desktop 10.4

(5), Server 10.4

Note: DB2 10.5 has a spatial Extender module in its version, so there is no need to install the spatial Extender installation package separately, but the express-c version does not, and the full commercial version needs to be installed.

3. Spatial database Configuration

(i) Database configuration

(1), create the SDE user at the operating system level, and add to the Db2admin group and the Administrators group.

(2), execute the command, enable the spatial database, Db2se enable_db SAMPLE.

(3), the execution command gives the SDE user dbadm permissions, connect to Sample,grant Dbadm on the database to user SDE.

(ii) Catalog configuration

(1), database connection configuration, you need to log in with the SDE user.

(2), enable Geodatabase

(3), spatial database test, create the surface features can be error.
