Db2ilist returns blank

The db2ilist command calls either Db2iset or Db2set depending on the permissions defined for Db2iset.

Db2iset is meant to being executed by root and while db2set are meant to being executed by a non-root user. If Db2iset have execute permission for ' others ' and then Db2ilist would run Db2iset (instead of Db2set) when invoked by an inst ance owner.


Ensure that Db2iset have execute permission for only owner (root).

The permissions on this file should is 544.

If This isn't the case and then everyone had execute permission on Db2iset, the instance owner ' s invocation of Db2ilist would Run Db2iset (which is isn't meant to being run by Non-root user), and Db2iset returns blank.

Revoke Db2iset ' s execute permission from ' others ' and try again.
