Definition of software assets

After a rough query, I found that the software assets meet the requirements. So I proposed the following definition of the software assets with my colleagues, and strive to be accurate and comprehensive to meet the management status quo. Please read the official axe.

 

Software assets, as a special asset of intangible assets, are installed on various information processing equipment (such as servers and computers) of the organization, resulting in procurement, update, or maintenance costs, software that can produce direct or indirect economic benefits after use can still be effectively used without being attached to a fixed asset.
