Change Internet Explorer settings
You can perform many changes in Internet Explorer to customize the browsing experience. When using Internet Explorer opened from the "start" screen, you can change many common settings (home page, browsing history, and zoom level ). Sweep from the right edge of the screen to the center and click "set ";
(If you are using a mouse, point to the lower right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and then click "set ".) Then, click or click "options ";
You can also execute many other settings and methods in the "Internet Options" dialog box to customize your browsing. To view all the settings and options, open Internet Explorer on the desktop, click or click "tools", and then click or click "Internet Options ".
Note:
· When you change the settings of Internet Explorer enabled from "start", these changes will also affect Internet Explorer on the desktop.
Reset Internet Explorer settings
You can reset Internet Explorer settings to the status when Internet Explorer is installed on your computer for the first time. This is useful if you want to solve the problem caused by setup changes after installation. Resetting Internet Explorer is irreversible. After resetting, all previous settings will be lost.
To reset Internet Explorer settings
1. Close all Internet Explorer windows currently open;
2. Open the desktop, and click or click the Internet Explorer icon in the taskbar. Changing the settings affects both Internet Explorer and desktop Internet Explorer;
3. Click or click "tools", and then click or click "Internet Options ";
4. Click or click the "Advanced" tab, and then click or click "reset ";
5. In the "reset Internet Explorer settings" dialog box, click "reset ";
After Internet Explorer completes the default application, click or close, and then click or OK ". You need to restart your computer to make these changes take effect.
