[19] Number of input errors in the physical layer of the interface. input errors equals the sum of important error messages. Different products can add other parameters or reduce parameters that cannot be implemented based on specific conditions.
(1) runts: discarded packets that are smaller than the mediums minimum packet size.
(Receive byte count <64 and not CRC error

No matter whether a VLAN tag exists or not, the data segment is smaller than 64 bytes and there is no frame with CRC verification error .)
(2) giants: discarded packets that are larger than the mediums Maximum packet size.

No VLAN tag, data segment greater than 1518 bytes, less than the maximum frame length, and no CRC verification error frame, and VLAN tag, data segment greater than 1522 bytes, less than the maximum frame length, and there are no frames with CRC verification errors .)

(3) throttles: discarded packets that are incomplete frames.
(When a switch detects cache or CPU overload and closes the interface receiver, it is called Throttle. It is a concept on a Cisco router. Our switch does not currently have this function, it should be displayed as not supported .)
(4) CRC: discarded packets with checksum error.
(Receive packet CRC error, the frame length is in the normal range (no tag, length between 64 and 1518, or tag, length between 64 and 1522), and CRC verification is incorrect, if this option is supported, parity error items are not supported .)
(5) frame: discarded packets with frame pad/sequence/alignment error, out of frame etc.
(Not an integer byte, but 1 ~ More ~ 7bit, so not alignment, or out-of-order or empty frames, and CRC verification error, but not included in CRC error .)
(6) overrun: The worker er hardware is unable to hand receive ed data to a hardware buffer because the input rate exceeds the receivers ability to handle the data.
(Because the input speed of the interface exceeds the processing capability of the receiver, packet loss occurs. Because our switch is generally capable of line rate forwarding, this value should be 0, only some vswitches have interface bandwidth restrictions on the frames uploaded to the CPU or three-tier line rate forwarding, or bandwidth restrictions implemented through ACL. Therefore, discarded frames are included in this option .)
(7) aborts: Input abnormal frames that are discarded.
(Except for other errors, errors deemed necessary by the product, such as frames with a forward guide code exception, are included in this item .)
(8) ignored: packets that are discarded because the interface hardware does not have enough internal buffers.
(Packet ignored, because the buffer inside the interface is full, discarded frames are different from discarded frames due to the lack of cache space in the main system. For frames forwarded by line rate, the internal cache of data frames is full due to insufficient bandwidth input of multiple interfaces and output of a single interface, as a result, the frames input from the interface are discarded before they enter the internal cache, And the frames that enter the internal cache time-out cannot be output. If this option is included, the frames uploaded to the CPU are limited by the CPU processing capability, if the tocpu cache is full, it will be discarded .)
(9) Parity: frames with parity error.
(Receive packet parity error. If this option is supported, CRC error items are not supported .)

[20] total output value of the physical layer of the interface displays the number of packets/Bytes/broadcast/multicast/pause frames entered by the physical layer.
The total statistical value only includes normal frames, abnormal frames, and pause frames.
Pauses: Flow Control pauses including Xon and xoff.

(1) underruns: there are no data in the output queue.
(Transmit under run, opposite to overrun, is a rare hardware exception because the output interface cache does not have frames When retrieving Ethernet frames from the output queue. Some switches do not have an independent interface output cache, which is the same as the interface output queue .)
(2) buffer failures: hardware does not have enough internal buffers.
(The internal cache is full. If the output queue is full, the output Ethernet frames are temporarily stored in the internal cache. Because the internal cache is full, frames are discarded. Because of this exception in the data frame forwarded by the switch to the wire speed, it is considered that it is an input frame that only arrives at the internal cache but does not reach the outbound interface. Therefore, it is included in the input ignored error, only frames sent from the CPU are discarded because the internal cache is full .)
(3) aborts: Output abnormal frames that are discarded.
(In half duplex mode, frames with a delay of more than 15 times are discarded due to conflict detection. This option is included. Except for other errors, errors that the product deems necessary for statistics, such as frames with a forward guide code exception, are also included in this item)
(4) Deferred: the packets cocould not be sent out for collision under half-duplex mode.
(In half duplex mode, because the carrier is declared, the packets that were not sent at the time are delayed once, and the count is increased by one .)
(5) Collisions: statistic of Collision Detection under half-duplex mode.
(In half-duplex mode, the first 64 bytes of the data in the Ethernet frame enter the line. Due to the conflict detected, no packets were sent at that time .)
(6) Late Collisions: statistic of collision with GE port sending packets less than 512 bytes and 10/100 m port less than 64 bytes.
(In half-duplex mode, after the first 64 bytes of the data in the Ethernet frame enter the line, no packets were sent due to the conflict detected .)
(7) lost carrier: statistic of losing the carrier.
(Carrier loss, which is generally applicable to the serial wan interface. During the sending process, each carrier is lost, and this count is incremented by one. For a switch, it is usually caused by line interruption .)
(8) No carrier: statistic of no carrier.
(No carrier, generally applicable to the serial wan interface. If no carrier occurs when attempting to send frames, this count is incremented by one. For a switch, it is usually caused by line interruption .)
