Differences between ref and out in C #

Source: Internet
Author: User

1. Different application scenarios

Ref is mainly used to change the external values of the function.

Out is mainly used to internally assign values to external variables. It is generally used where a function has multiple return values.

2. Different initialization Methods

Ref must be initialized before use, and out does not need to be initialized.

Cause: ref is a reference. All references must be referenced only after "yes ".

Out is an internal value assigned to external users, and Initialization is not required, even if Initialization is invalid.
