Direct call Modelsim emulation in NIOS II

STEP1: Create a project, implement and compile the project, and write the Testbench file.

STEP2: Set the path to start Modelsim

Select Nios II Menu tools->options: In the popup screen, select the Modelsim installation path.

STEP3: Select simulation software

Select Menu Assignments->settings:, in the Popup interface, select tool name Modelsim.

STEP4: Select test code file

As shown in the selection, click Test benches

Standalone new

Fill in test bench name, locate the file name path and load as shown in:

STEP5: Start Simulation

Select Tools->run EDA Simulation Tool->eda RTL Simulation
