Disable Mac sleep (sleep)

Source: Internet
Author: User

Mac OS X uses normal sleep + safe sleep by default (called sleep in Windows): saves data in memory (RAM) to files on the hard disk: /private/var/Vm/sleepimage before normal sleep. The advantage is that if the computer is completely out of power, the content in the original memory can be restored from the hard disk. Hard Disk occupation and time consumption are not good. Disable:

1 sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0
2 sudo nvram “use-nvramrc?”=false

When the restart takes effect, delete the image files on the hard disk:

1 sudo rm /private/var/vm/sleepimage

Enable:

1 sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 3
2 sudo nvram “use-nvramrc?”=true
