Disable the DNS cache for IE browser

Source: Internet
Author: User

Disables the method of DNS caching by saving the following as a registry file and writing to the registry at run:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[Hkey_current_usersoftwaremicrosoftwindowscurrentversioninternet Settings]

"Dnscacheenabled" =dword:00000000

"Dnscachetimeout" =dword:00000000

"Serverinfotimeout" =dword:00000000

After writing to the registry, IE will no longer cache DNS, we will immediately take effect on the hosts, no need to restart the browser.

If you need to restore the DNS cache for IE, just clear the contents of the registry we wrote earlier. Just like the way it was.
