An active partition is a primary partition that is used to start the operating system. You can only have one active partition on a hard disk.

To set the current partition as active, click on the toolbar button "Activate", or click on the menu "Partition-Activate Current section" Item, or click the right mouse button on the partition you want to activate, and select "Activate Current section" In the pop-up menu. If the other partitions are active, the following warning message appears:

Click "Yes" to set the current partition as the active partition. Also clears the activation flags of the original active partition.

You can cancel the active state of the current partition by clicking on the "Partition-partition Activation Status" item in the menu so that there is no active partition on the hard drive.
