Display restricted after VPN is connected to Windows 8

Failure phenomenon:

After you use a VPN dial-up connection, the local network connection is displayed in a restricted state.

Reason Analysis:

Since dialing to a remote server, all local connection requests go through the VPN server to interact with the outside world.

Solution:

You need to set the following steps: Right click on the VPN connection and select "View Connection Properties", as shown below:

In the VPN Connection Properties window, select the Network tab, select IPv4, and then select Properties, as shown in the following figure:

Select the lower right "advanced":

Cancel the "Use default gateway on remote network" front to confirm:

View the network status again, displaying the following connections:
