Do not prompt you to save password when linking to access 2007 database encryption

Symptoms

From another Access 2007 database, link to a table in an encrypted Microsoft Office Access 2007 database. Do this without prompting to save the password to encrypt the database. In addition, you save your password as a binary file that creates a link in the internal Access 2007 database file in plain text.

Reason

This problem occurs when you create a link in the Access 2007 database without encrypting it.

Alternative methods

To work around this issue, you must encrypt any Access 2007 database that is linked to the encrypted 2007 Access database. To do this, follow these steps:

1.	Open the Access 2007 database and want to encrypt it.
2.	On the Database Tools tab, click Use password encryption in the Database Tools group.
3.	Set the Database Password dialog box, in the Password box, type the password, and then type the same password in the validation box.
4.	Click OK, and then save the database.
