Do you dare to tamper with the Internet at will? Hackers are using computers on the Internet to mine encrypted currencies and currencies.

As we all know, public wireless networks are available in public places such as Starbucks, McDonald's, and Pizza Hut. Especially in foreign countries, there are countless people working with laptops in Starbucks, but now, you have to be cautious when you start network hacking, because recently hackers have begun to focus on these computers.

It is understood that when a foreign user went out, he accidentally discovered that the public wireless network of a Starbucks in Buenos Aires, Argentina had been cracked by hackers and implanted malicious code, hackers can use this method to convert the laptops of users in the store into their own mining machines, and mine Monroe coins and other encrypted currencies at a high load. This not only seriously damages the computer hardware, but also makes it difficult to ensure data security in the computer.

This was the first time that the user found this phenomenon because he had a significant latency compared to the previous wireless network connection. After detection, he found that his laptop was used to run the mining program with high power. Many feedbacks were received when users posted the incident to hacker research websites, bitcoin mining websites, and other places. Some professionals pointed out that the script for hackers to implant wireless networks is actually Coinhive code, this is a JS engine dedicated for mining. Hackers can implant it into the unprotected computers of network users and convert these computers into their mining devices.

However, the hacker research site said that the problem was not caused by the Starbucks router, but because many websites have recently been implanted with Coinhive code, totaling more than 5000, therefore, if users accidentally access the website implanted with the Coinhive code, the computer will be easily exploited by hackers to become a zombie mining machine. At present, Starbucks has fixed the network in its chain stores, but they did not disclose the specific cause of the problem.
