Why create a project template file?

What is a project template file?

DotNetBar does not add a project template for us by default. This is why I added a custom project template to the repackaging version.

By default, DotNetBar has added four file templates for us to quickly create a form of the specified style. You can also create a template file of your or your company's unified form file to facilitate your convenience.

 

 

How to create a project template file?

1. Open a project to be used as a template project. (Delete unnecessary files to keep the project files clean and concise)

2. Click "file"-"Export template" in the menu ".

The project we selected here is the official sample project provided by DotNetBar. (Hey, the most suitable project template is, of course, the official example project)

You can also use projects that you often use to create them. Once and for all, you can avoid repeated work in the future.

3. Select "Project template" in the template wizard ".

If you need to select multiple projects, note that the selected projects are not currently open by default.

4. Click "Next" to go to the detailed template settings page.

By default, this template is automatically inserted to Visual Studio.

The files are saved in My documents/current VS version/My Exported Templates folder by default. The generated file is a zip compressed file. After decompression, as shown in:
