Download and install Ubuntu12.04
Ubuntu is currently the most popular system with 64-bit 14.04. It is also very difficult to allocate 1 GB of memory in the virtual machine, so we still choose the classic version Ubuntu12.04. Directly open the Ubuntu selective download page http://www.ubuntu.com/download/alternative-downloads (click to open the link) to the BT download part, find Ubuntu 12.04.5 Desktop (32-bit), this thing is a good system, the size is 730 M, the size of a CD, Ubuntu14.04, 64-bit, is too painful, big and stuck to death, this system is not what I want. For example:
Virtual Machine load ubuntu-12.04.5-desktop-i386.iso can start to install, a language selection interface pops up at the beginning, find simplified Chinese, select "Install Ubuntu"
After that, do not select "download updates during installation". Otherwise, Ubuntu will not be installed for a lifetime. You can choose to install this third-party software.
Then, because I directly installed Ubuntu on the virtual machine, I chose to clear the entire disk and install Ubuntu directly.
During Ubuntu installation, you can complete your own personalized settings. First, you should select your own time zone. The China part in the GMT zone is very strange. The Chinese mainland is actually Chongqing and Shanghai, without Beijing, the rest is only Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. If this is the case, the default value is Shanghai. Can the time zones in Shanghai and Chongqing be different?
Then select the keyboard layout and follow the default Chinese language.
At last, set the login name and password. You only need to enter the name and other usernames to be automatically completed. You can set the logon password to "Automatic Logon". Do not make it so complicated. However, remember this password. In the future, you can press Ctrl + Alt + T to open the terminal and execute some commands. This password is required.
After that, wait about 15 minutes. After the installation is complete, you can restart the computer. In the VM, there will be a lot of warnings on the way, and the first restart will also be black screen. The main reason is that you do not need to load and install ISO in the virtual machine.
In this way, Ubuntu installation is complete. In general, it is much simpler than Debian's installation. "[Linux] Debian's download, installation, graphical interface, multi-image killing cat" (click to open the link) is just like a Windows.
