1. Establish asp.net site

Step 1 Preparation:

To run the ASP.net page, the computer must have a server program (IIS) installed to provide support for asp.net. So we have to install IIS and the Add Windows component in the Add Removal program can be installed.

Use the Internet Manager (Control Panel │ Administrative Tools │internet Manager) to create a new Web site that points to the folder where you want to put the generated page.

Copy all files under Sample\gettingstarted\tutorial and \samples\database under the Dreamwaver MX installation directory to the folder you just set up

Step 2 Establish Web site:

Open Dreamwaver MX, click Site, select New site.

Dreamwaver MX supports two new site modes:

(1) Basic: Use the wizard to build, convenient and simple, preferred.

(2) Advanced: More trouble but set the options are more, small series recommended first in basic mode, and then use Advanced mode to modify

The first step is to fill in the site name, and then click Next

The second step is to select a site type. Determine if server-side technology is used. Because this example uses ASP.net, select the second option and select ASP.net in the Drop-down box.

The third step is to set the properties of the test site. Select the way to test and the directory where the files are placed, click Next.

Step fourth to set the URL for the site, click Next.

The fifth step is to set the shared file, because this instance is debugged at this level, select the second item, click Next.
