Accelerate Image Download

If the webpage contains too many images, the browsing speed will be affected. Dreamweaver allows you to easily set Prepaid images to accelerate image download speeds and make websites appear in front of users as quickly as possible.

Creative idea open the Dreamweaver MX 2004 software New page, then open the tag panel, select the pre-loaded image option in behavior to speed up image download.

Procedure

(1) create a file, as shown in Figure 36-1.

(2) save the page and insert an image. To ignore the relative path when inserting an image, save the page as "36.htm ". Insert the image to be preloaded, as shown in Figure 36-2.

3) added the "preload image" function. Use the Dreamweaver behavior panel to add the "preload image" function, as shown in Figure 36-3.

(4) select the image to be preloaded, as shown in Figure 36-4.

Tip: If there are several large images on the site, you can click the + icon above [preload Image] to add multiple pre-loaded images, as shown in Figure 36-4.
