Fault description: The Event Viewer of win2003server and win2003serser is displayed from time to time on servers in the LAN:
"Name" Workgroup: 1D "cannot be registered on the Interface of IP address xx. xx1. No machine with IP address xx. xx2
Allow this name to be occupied by this machine." The event source is netbt. Solution: First confirm that your computer ip address does not conflict with other machines, and then DEBUG in the following order: 1. Modify the machine name of IP address xx. xx2. The first four characters of the machine name cannot be the same as the first four characters of the machine name of IP address xx. xx. xx1! Restart the machine. If the problem persists, go to step 2. It is the master node on NetBIOS and is set incorrectly. It is usually seen on Dual-nic computers.
Disconnect an Internet Nic from netbios on TCP/IP. The problem can be solved!
