Computer viruses, Trojans, and spyware are also known as the three traps on the Internet. There are specialized software for dealing with viruses and Trojans. Is there any good way to deal with more concealed spyware? The answer is to use anti-spyware. Currently, there are a lot of Anti-Spyware software, such as Spyware Remover, SpyBot Search & Destroy, Ad-Aware, PestPatrol, and SpySweeper. ★Spyware Remover

Spyware Remover is a software used to delete ad record files. It will scan your memory, registry, and other files that will have AD software and safely delete them. You can also use the Spyware Remover to monitor the advertisement software and pop-up advertisements, or choose to directly kill them. The English interface of Spyware Remover may make you feel unfamiliar. However, the following illustration can help you solve this problem.

I. Understanding Spyware Remover

How do I set Spyware Remover? How can I use several small tools integrated by Spyware Remover? These two answers can be answered from the main interface. After Spyware Remover is installed, open the main interface and you will see the scan option on the left side of the main interface (we will introduce it in detail later ), the buttons on the right of the main interface are the main functions of the software. For example, the buttons on the Win9x system task bar that return to the desktop are used to change the software settings, select the language, and define the log file path; the following "Scan" and "Scan Folder" are two buttons for determining the scanning of advertising software. "Backup" is used to restore or Delete Backup documents you have performed; "Popup-watch" and "Spy-watch" are spyware monitoring and ad pop-up window monitoring respectively. We will not discuss them one by one if you are not familiar with them, you can click a button and click "Start your system scan now!" You can see their brief introduction.

Click the "Setting" button on the main interface to bring up the "BPS Spyware Remover" window. The "Options" option on the right can be used to modify the software settings.

Under "Scan options", there are six check boxes for Scan content options, including spyware, Trojan, cookies, browser traps, and keyboard recorders. You can select all of them.

In the "BPS Spyware Remover" window, another "Paths" option is used to specify the log and backup file location. Generally, you do not need to change it. "language" is used to select the software language environment, although there is also a "Chinese" option, it does not change the software interface to Chinese.

3. Normal Scanning

After some settings above, you can scan your system and select the check box "My Computer" on the left of the main interface to see the six sub-options, including scanning memory, scanning registry, scanning disk, etc. After scanning, click "Next" in the window and you will see a window similar to Figure 3. All the advertisement software scanned by the system will be listed here, if you select "Backup", these advertising programs will be backed up, and these advertising software will appear in the Backup list. If you select "Delete", they will be deleted, of course, you can also click the "Ignore" button to add them to the Ignore list. The so-called Ignore list means that although this is a suspicious spyware, you can give it special treatment, make them carefree in your system, but it is generally unnecessary. If you are afraid of accidental deletion, you can back up the backup and delete it again.

★Anti-bot master -- SpyBot Search & Destroy

I. Software setup and Operation

After installation, start the software by using the Spybot-S & D shortcut icon on the desktop. Click "Language" in the toolbar and select "Chinese (simplified)" from the menu )", you can switch Spybot-S & D to the Chinese interface.

After the language settings are complete, you can start to clear the "spyware" Action. Click the "check & Clear" button in the "Spybot-S & D" column on the left of the software interface. Then, click "Check Problem" on the right of the interface, and Spybot-S & D will automatically start to work. After a period of scanning, the list below shows all the spyware programs settled in your computer. Click "+" in front of a spyware in the list, we can see what the spyware did on the computer (figure 6 ). By default, all the check boxes in front of the List of spyware programs are selected. You only need to click the "Fix selected problems" button above to delete all these spyware programs. If no spyware is found on your computer, it will display "Congratulations! No spyware is found ".

Some spyware are closely related to the system. If they are deleted, the system may run abnormally. Therefore, Spybot-S & D creates a backup for the spyware before deleting it. Similarly, click the "Restore" button in the "Spybot-S & D" column on the left side of the interface, the list on the right will list the backup files that have been deleted from the spyware program (Figure 7). After selecting the corresponding backup files through the check box, click "Restore selected products" to restore them. Of course, you can also permanently delete the backup files of these spyware programs through "delete selected recovery.

Tip: like anti-virus software, Spybot-S & D also requires frequent upgrades to maintain its optimal status. Click the "Update" button in the Spybot-S & D column on the left of the interface, click "Search for updates" on the right, and the upgrade files will appear in the list below (figure 8 ). By default, all the check boxes before these update files are selected. You only need to click "Download Update" to automatically upgrade the software.

Ii. Immune Function of Spybot-S & D

Not only do we need to scan and kill spyware, but we also need prevention. The immune function provided in Spybot-S & D can block more than 1500 spyware programs, click "immune" in the Spybot-S & D column on the left side of the page, click the "immune" button in the window on the right to add a protection against spyware to your computer (figure 9 ).
