After the first article is over, we can deploy ADFS on our servers, with a simple way to add functional roles directly in Server Manager, select the current server and select ADFS in the server role.

650) this.width=650; "height=" 457 "title=" clip_image001 "style=" margin:0px;border:0px;padding-top:0px; Padding-right:0px;padding-left:0px;background-image:none, "alt=" clip_image001 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/ M01/5b/1e/wkiom1t_nn-rqduraaiblmkgskk888.jpg "border=" 0 "/>

After completion we need to configure the ADFS in detail, click Message Notifications in Server Manager, and then choose to configure the Federation Service on this server.

650) this.width=650; "height=" 436 "title=" clip_image002 "style=" margin:0px;border:0px;padding-top:0px; Padding-right:0px;padding-left:0px;background-image:none, "alt=" clip_image002 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/ M02/5b/1e/wkiom1t_nodrjz6baahdvdkupk4047.jpg "border=" 0 "/>

We then chose to create the first federation server in the federation server farm.

650) this.width=650; "height=" 472 "title=" clip_image003 "style=" margin:0px;border:0px;padding-top:0px; Padding-right:0px;padding-left:0px;background-image:none, "alt=" clip_image003 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/ M00/5b/1e/wkiom1t_nodhbuwdaagb7-6so-c030.jpg "border=" 0 "/>

Then enter the user credentials for the ADFS Administrator account.

650) this.width=650; "height=" 473 "title=" clip_image004 "style=" margin:0px;border:0px;padding-top:0px; Padding-right:0px;padding-left:0px;background-image:none, "alt=" clip_image004 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/ M01/5b/1e/wkiom1t_nogsxmjwaahkzk8p4ao352.jpg "border=" 0 "/>

Then select the ADFS certificate that we requested and assign in advance and enter the display name of the Federation Service, which is also the display name that users see when they log on using the ADFS authentication Web page.

650) this.width=650; "height=" 471 "title=" clip_image005 "style=" margin:0px;border:0px;padding-top:0px; Padding-right:0px;padding-left:0px;background-image:none, "alt=" clip_image005 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/ M02/5b/1e/wkiom1t_noltrbrhaagr3u-rp6w504.jpg "border=" 0 "/>

Then select our pre-prepared service account when setting up the service account.

650) this.width=650; "height=" 471 "title=" clip_image006 "style=" margin:0px;border:0px;padding-top:0px; Padding-right:0px;padding-left:0px;background-image:none, "alt=" clip_image006 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/ M00/5b/1e/wkiom1t_nokr7pxbaaf39gbtpbs056.jpg "border=" 0 "/>

Then select our pre-prepared SQL Server and DB instance name on the specified database page, and if it's the default database, we don't have to fill in the instance name and leave it blank.

650) this.width=650; "height=" 471 "title=" clip_image007 "style=" margin:0px;border:0px;padding-top:0px; Padding-right:0px;padding-left:0px;background-image:none, "alt=" clip_image007 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/ M01/5b/1e/wkiom1t_nopgskz1aagmhmu3rkg076.jpg "border=" 0 "/>

We can then see the details of our configuration in the later view options.

650) this.width=650; "height=" 472 "title=" clip_image008 "style=" margin:0px;border:0px;padding-top:0px; Padding-right:0px;padding-left:0px;background-image:none, "alt=" clip_image008 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/ M02/5b/1e/wkiom1t_nooj0kiqaaiykgcd4-4472.jpg "border=" 0 "/>

You can begin the prerequisite check by confirming the error.

All the prerequisites go through and we can start configuring ADFS.

Wait a moment to configure it.
