Virtual memory

The minimum and maximum paging file size must be set to physical RAM plus ten MB and the maximum value is 32778 MB.

If you are using more than one GB of RAM, set the maximum paging file size to 32778 MB.

The paging file should be hosted on the same drive as the Exchange database file or database log file.

You must use a fixed-size paging file and do not allow Windows to manage it. When Exchange is overloaded, increasing the paging file can be a performance-intensive task and may cause problems.
