How to install Apache, PHP, and Mysql in Win2000-Linux Enterprise Application-Linux server application information. Experience in installing Apache, PHP, and Mysql in Win2000
It is convenient to use Apache, PHP, and Mysql Databases in Windows 2000 to develop e-commerce websites.
After all, Linux is not yet popular. The following is my experience in installing this environment in Windows 2000,
I hope this will help you. Note: This section does not describe full installation, but describes some notes.
Software environment:
Apache_1.3.19-win32-src-r2.msi
Php-4.0.2
Mysql-3.23.37
All three are used for Windows.
1. Support for PHP3 files in PHP4
Be sure to have this line:
AppType applications/x-httpd-php3. php3
And this line must appear behind the following line
Action application/x-httpd-php "/php/php.exe"
Otherwise, Apache will not run the PHP3 file.
2. Notes for changing the default WEB directory of the Apache server
1) first change this line
Change the location in the quotation marks to the directory you want.
Then you need to change the location. If you do not change the location, the prompt "You are not authorized to access" may appear.
The directory location in this quotation mark must be the same as that above.
It is because I did not change this line that the Wizard to Apache cannot run normally.
