First, go to the Forum to download the fc6 image CD. We recommend you download the ISO in the DVD format. You can use tools to download it, such as thunder. Remember, you must save it in the partition in the FAT32 format, I downloaded it to drive D. We will also try to explain it in the DVD format.

After the download, use the tool to open it. WinRAR can open it. We put the isolinux folder in the root directory of the D Drive.

The key to hard disk installation is how the hard disk guides us to download the image to the local disk. This step is correct, and the next step is much smoother.

First, download the Hard Drive boot file. This file is part of grub for DOS. We need this part, and I have corrected the relevant file for your convenience.

After the download, decompress the package in a FAT32 partition, And I decompress the package in drive C.

Right-click my computer> Properties> advanced> Settings> edit, and add C:/grldr = "FC" and timeout = 5. Here, a large number is also written, select the menu for several seconds and save it.

Open the menu. LST file in/boot/grub under drive C.

(Hd0, 4) indicates the first hard disk and 5th partitions of IDE. in Linux, the first logical drive is 5th partitions. No matter how many primary partitions are in front of the drive, this is 5th, of course, you can only have up to four partitions. Note that the first partition in grub is 0, so the first partition in grub is 4. This should be written according to your actual situation and changed to (hd0, 4). For example, if I enter 8th partitions, that is (hd0, 7), this should be used flexibly, note that all of the preceding operations are input in English format, that is, input on the default English keyboard. If the Chinese input method is not enabled, the input is /.. /.., instead of Win /.. /...

Next we restart and select FC. Then we enter the grub interface. Then we select fc6. Next we will go to the Pilot installation. At this point, we will be half successful.
