Fedora15Gnome3 desktop (NVIDIAGeForce8100) Enable CompizFusion Effect

This tutorial describes how to enable the CompizFusion effect on the Fedora15GNOME3 desktop (the system must have a 3D video card-NVIDIAGeForce8100 is used here ). If you do not use a 3D video card or another video card, the problem may occur. To use the root account, we need to switch to the root account first. Su install NVIDIA graphics DRIVER: yuminstallmesa-dri-driversxorg-x11

This tutorial describes how to enable the Compiz Fusion Effect on the gnoora 15 GNOME 3 desktop (the system must have a 3D video card-NVIDIA GeForce 8100 is used here ). If you do not use a 3D video card or another video card, the problem may occur.

To use the root account, we need to switch to the root account first.

Su

Install the NVIDIA graphics card driver:

Yum install mesa-dri-drivers xorg-x11-drv-nouveau

Log out of the system and enter the desktop again to make the video card driver take effect:

Open the terminal and continue to use the root account:

Install Compiz Fusion

Yum install emerald-themes compiz-fusion-extras emerald compiz-plugins-main compiz-manager compiz-fusion-extras libcompizconfig compiz-plugins-main-gconf ccsm compiz-gnome compiz-gtk
