Firefox market share over 20% IE browser below 70%

31st News, foreign media reports, according to Netapplications data shows that Firefox browser's market share has exceeded 20%, while IE browser fell below 70%.

Netapplications data is more likely to be volatile, based on the browser brand that users use every day. But the overall trend is obvious, ie browser share gradually decline, and Firefox choose to climb.

Throughout June, Firefox's average market share was 19.27%, up from May's 18.41%. IE's average market share has fallen from 73.75% in May to 72.95%.

According to netapplications latest data show, Firefox today's market share has reached 20.68% (Firefox 2 is 13.75%,firefox 3 to 6.92%), and IE to 69.88%. Driven by a new Firefox 3 browser, analysts believe Firefox's market share can be maintained at over 20% a long time.
