Fix Ubuntu root account cannot login ssh problem-permission denied, please try again.

Just installed the Ubuntu 14.04 Server virtual machine , the normal account can be telnet, but root does not, enter the password has been error:

Permission denied

Finally, the configuration of SSH (/etc/ssh/sshd_config) was found to be quite different, and the default configuration for 14.04 was:

Permitrootlogin Without-password

Switch

Permitrootlogin Yes

Then restart SSH:

Restart SSH

Then ssh localhost will be able to log in.
