Additions installation method for VirtualBox virtual Machine Linux Guest

If Windows is the Guest, click the menu bar "Insert guest additions CD Image ..." directly. "You can automatically load the additions CD into the guest's virtual CD drive, but Linux is not possible because Linux requires root permission to mount the CD Image.

The procedure is to open the terminal in guest and enter:

sudo mount/dev/sr0/media/cdrom

Sr0 mount to the/media/cdrom, if there is no CDROM, you can first mkdir one, mount to another location can also.

And take a look.

Inside there is vboxlinuxadditions.run this one, directly run can.

sudo sh./vboxlinuxadditions.run

After installation, reboot a bit.
