Alibaba staff doubled in the U.S.

Report from our correspondent (intern reporter Li Bin) yesterday, Alibaba announced that in just one year, Alibaba has become the largest B2B e-commerce service provider in India and Japan, and will expand to Europe and America in the future.

It is reported that at the end of 2007, Alibaba set up an Indian channel to help Indian suppliers find local and global buyers. In last May, Alibaba announced the establishment of a joint venture with SoftBank Group in Japan to enter the Japanese market.

Alibaba CEO Wei Zhe said that India and Japan in Asia are only part of their overseas expansion, and the company is still planning to expand in other overseas markets such as the United States and Europe. In March this year, Alibaba expanded its U.S. scale and its employees doubled.
