The AutoFormat feature helps users quickly format a selected Word document based on the preset format in the AutoFormat option, and users first need to place the AutoFormat button in the Quick Access Toolbar of the Word2010 document window (reference tutorial, "AutoFormat" command on the Quick Access Toolbar). The steps to apply AutoFormat in a Word2010 document are as follows:
Step 1th, open the Word2010 document window and select the text you want to apply AutoFormat to (if you don't select the text, the AutoFormat will be used for the entire Word document). Then click the AutoFormat button on the Quick Access Toolbar, as shown in Figure 2010100102.

Step 2nd, in the AutoFormat dialog box that you open, select the AutoFormat and Review tracked changes Radio box, and then select the general document, letter, or e-mail options in the Document type Drop-down list. Select finished click the OK button, as shown in Figure 2010100103.
