ArcGIS 9.2 introduces many new features. Recently, refer to the E-document PDF document to learn about the new features In ArcMap.

1. Browse the map with the scroll wheel of the mouse

the graphical navigation of ArcGIS 9.2 Desktop products allows you to browse maps with the scroll wheel and retain and update some new shortcut keys.

In the pagelayout view, the scroll wheel responds to the page object by default. The following table lists the operation shortcuts:
you can zoom in or out the scroll wheel on the interface as shown in.

2. quickly switch to other tools
Similarly, the shift key works with the shortcut key in the preceding table to operate the map object in pagelayout.

3. mouse tips
I. when you use the pan tool, the mouse click is in the center of the map.
II. when you use the [zoom in/zoom out/PAN] tool, you can switch between the three tools in sequence by pressing the F6 key
III. hold down the Alt key in TOC and click the layer, which is equivalent to zoom to layer.

4. keyboard tips
You can also set custom shortcut keys on the interface as shown in:
