The installation methods circulating on the Internet cannot be referred to as the installation document. It can only be said as the installation experience. Starting from 9.0, ArcIMS is truly on the right track, although the improvement is limited, it has been relatively stable from installation, deployment, and use. As long as the development and management are reasonable, it is basically competent for the Second Development and Application of WebGIS over the past few years. The same is true for AGS. When 9.0 was launched, it was rarely used. One reason was that there was no experience, and the other reason was that API design changes were frequent. 9.1 and 9.2 of the ADF had a big difference, so before AGS 9.2, it can only be said that it was stuck in the concept propaganda stage. By the time it reached AGS 9.2, the API and AGS systems were basically stable. I believe that most developers started to work as servers from 9.2, controls, common data source, specific data source, Server Extension, soap API, ao API, pooled, cache, basic, standard, advanced ...... These terms form the overall architecture and development method of AGS in a horizontal, vertical, internal, and external manner. Problems encountered:

1. If you run "web mapping application migration utility" before the installation is complete, an error is returned.
2. ArcGIS 9.3beta is not compatible with mxd of 9.2. You can create a service with AGs, but it is displayed as blank!

Workgroup can only be installed on one server with Webserver, and functional testing is enough. In general, it is easier to install ags9.3 only. Some problems have been encountered when installing it with other ArcGIS 9.3 beta software, okay.
