ArcGIS Server 9.3 installation tutorial

If ArcGIS Server 9.3 has been installed, uninstall it before installation. In the control panel, delete ArcGISSOM, ArcGISSOC, and ArcGISWebServices of three ArcGIS users.

Step 1: Install ArcGIS Desktop. If you have already installed ArcGIS Desktop, skip to step 2.

Preparation file: ArcGIS_Desktop_9.3.iso, which contains the crack file. If not, click here to download.

1. decompress the iso file and run the lmsetup.exe file under the crack \ license_server_setupfolder. Select the 37102011. efl9 file in the same directory as the license file.

Click Next by default until the last step prompts you to restart your computer and select restart later.

2. Copy all the Files in the crack \ license_server_crack folder to the C: \ Program Files \ ESRI \ License \ arcgis9x directory, open the Arc_Info9.lic file, and use NotePad to open the file,

Replace XXXXX In "server xxxxx ESRI_SENTINEL_KEY = 37102011 27001" with your machine name. OK, save.

3. Start ArcGIS License Server.

Start-> Program-> ArcGIS-> License Manager (9.x)-> License Manager Tools, select Config services, and configure lmgrd.exe and license. the path of the lic file is under C: \ Program Files \ ESRI \ License \ arcgis9x, click Save Service, switch to the Start/Stop/Reread tab, read the License file, and Start the Service, switch to the Server Diags tab and click Perform.
Click the Diagnostics button. If "This license can be checked out" is displayed, it will be done.

Next, install ArcGIS Desktop.

4. Run the startup.exe file in the arcgis_desktop_9.3 directory and select Install ArcGIS Desktop.

2. Install ArcGIS Server 9.3

Requirements:

1. Disable "simple file sharing" in "Folder Options". Simple file sharing will enable a special WINDOWS authentication method, which is incompatible with ArcGIS Server.
2. Disable the anti-virus software firewall, and disable real-time monitoring of anti-virus software (I'm NOD32 and it's okay ).
3. Disable the firewall that comes with Windows.
4. Install IIS
5. Install VS2005 or VS2008. If no VS software is available, install. NET Framework2.0 and. NET Framework3.0/3.5 at least.

6. ArcGIS Server needs to use port 80, which is easily occupied by downloading software such as thunder. Before installation, try to ensure port 80 is not occupied. If it is in use, you need to change the port or the port of software such as thunder during installation.

7. Check the hard disk space. ArcGIS Server occupies about GB of disk space, and the system disk is about MB.
8. Make sure that the following software has been installed before installation:
1). Windows Installer 3.1
2). Microsoft. Net Framework 2.0 and. NET Framework3.0/3.5
3). Microsoft ASP. NET 2.0 AJAX Extensions 1.0
4). Internet Explorer 6.0 or later
5). IIS (ASP. NET 2.0)
6). Visual Studio (developer)

Before installation, register asp.net to iis and run-cmd-go to the 2.0 directory. The default location is C: \ WINDOWS \ Microsoft. NET \ Framework \ v2.0.50727. Enter aspnet_regiis-I.

Run setup.exe under the Arcgis server 93 dotnet editiondirectory. It will be available all the way by default until you need to enter the password of two arcgis users and fill in the password,

Click Next to set the password for ArcGISSOM and ArcGISSOM respectively. Next, set the password for ArcGISWebServices users. Next, set the location where the cached images are stored. You can change the password to another directory. The default value is disk C, next, follow the default steps until registration. Select an existing authorization file and select the ecp file to complete the installation. This is not complete yet. Next, configure the user information, open the control panel, manage the computer, and enter the local users and groups, follow the configuration below (other users in the group are not considered here, if there is a default, it can be done without affecting other applications ):

Administrators, ArcGISSOM, and ArcGISWebServices.
The agsadmin group consists of Administrator, ArcGISSOM, and ArcGISWebServices.
The agsusers group consists of Administrator, ArcGISSOM, and ArcGISSOC.
Users Group: ArcGISSOM, ArcGISSOC, and ArcGISWebServices.

After setting this step, you must restart it. Never be lucky.

Iii. ArcGIS Server

Open ArcCatalog, double-click Add ArcGIS Server in the list on the left, and select Manage GIS Services. Next, enter http: // machine name/arcgisserver/services/in Server URL /, enter your machine Name in Host Name, and then Finish.
