ASP. net mvc environment configuration, conversion and learning resources from 1.0 to 2.0

In the official vs 4.12 version released on November 2010, Visual Web Developer 2010 supports Asp.net MVC2.

. After the download, install aspnetmvc2_vs2008.exe,

Note: You must install vs2008sp1:

The app is a single executable: Download mvcappconverter.zip (220 KB ).

After decompression, select the corresponding mvc1.0 solution for conversion.

 

Iii. solution when vs2010beta is installed:

In asp.net-mvc-2-rtm-release-notes.doc, the following descriptions are provided:

Note:

Because Visual Studio 2008 and Visual Studio 2010 RC share a component of ASP. net MVC 2, installing the ASP. net MVC 2 RTM release on a computer where Visual Studio 2010 RC is also installed is not supported.

Also, after installing vs2010beta, installing aspnetmvc2_vs2008.exe will prompt that the installation is complete, but vs2008 does not have the corresponding MVC2. If you open a project containing MVC2, the following error will be reported:

The project type is not support by this installation.

My solution is:

If you do not uninstall 2010, you only need
Microsoft ASP. NET MVC2 and Microsoft ASP. NET MVC2-visual studio 2010 toolsunload, then install aspnetmvc2_vs2008.exe.
