4.5.1-point drawing and setting
1. Drawing of points
The AutoCAD Midpoint object (point) is probably the simplest graphic object, and the user only needs to specify its coordinates. Although drawing is simple, AutoCAD still provides a variety of ways to draw:
Single Point method: Call once command to draw only one point
(1) Multi-point method (multiple points): Invoke a command once to draw multiple points
(2) fixed-number dividing method (Divide): divides the specified object into specified segments and marks them with dots.
(3) Fixed-distance method (Measure): Divide the specified object by the specified distance, and mark it with dots.
The second-order method and the fixed-distance method are detailed in the 6th chapter.
The drawing Point command is invoked in the following way:
Toolbar: "Draw (Drawing)" →
Menu: "Draw (Drawing)" → "point" → submenu, as shown in Figure 4-14.
Command line: Point (or alias Po)
In which, the use of the toolbar will be more than a point of drawing, equivalent to the selection of submenu "multiple point (single points)." Using the "point" command to draw for single points is equivalent to selecting the submenu "Single point".
When the command is invoked, AutoCAD displays the mode and size of the current point and prompts the user to specify the location of the point:
Current Point modes:pdmode=0 pdsize=0.0000
