By default, objects are plotted in the order in which they were created. In some special cases, such as two or more objects covering each other, it is often necessary to modify the drawing and printing order of the objects to ensure proper display and printout. AutoCAD provides a "draworder" command to modify the order of objects.
7.3.1 Instance 1 changing the Order of graphics
Step 1 Open a graphics file
Start the AutoCAD 2002 system to open the instance file "EXAM4-3.DWG" created in chapter 4th;
Step 2 Change the display order
In the file, because of the "?" The graphic is first drawn, so the graphic is displayed at the end, as shown in Figure 7-8. And the right pattern requires "?" The graphic is between the cigarette graphic and the text, so we use the "draworder" command to change its display order. Select the icon in the Modify II toolbar and follow the prompts:

Example description
The "Draworder" command is invoked in the following ways:
Toolbar: "Modify II (Modified II)" →
Menu: "Tools" → "display order" → submenu, as shown in Figure 7-10.
Command line: Draworder (or alias Dr)
The function of the command options is:
(1) "Bring to Front (forward)": Moves the selected object to the front of the graphic order.
(2) "Send to Back": Moves the selected object to the last side of the graphic order.
(3) "Bring Above object (above objects)": Moves the selected object above the specified Reference object.
(4) "Send Under object (placed below)": Moves the selected object below the specified Reference object.
If a user selects more than one object at a time, the relative display order between the selected objects does not change, but only the relative position of the other objects.
